I will be thrilled to write copy for your website - everything from small blurbs optimized for SEO to substantial reviews and articles.
Editing, Writing Assistance, and Tutoring Services:
* Proofreading - Catch and correct pesky grammar, spelling, mechanical, and typographical errors. Excellent for otherwise strong and effective writing.
* Editing - Proofreading, plus changes to improve clarity, eliminate redundancy, and restructure awkward syntax. Great for projects where the basic ideas and organization are solid, but specific ideas are proving difficult to articulate. May be especially helpful for writers who are non-native English speakers.
* Revision Assistance - Proofreading and editing, plus help with organization of ideas, in tone, coherence of argument and other macro-level issues. Useful when information is proving difficult to organize and convey.
* Virtual Tutoring - I will provide constructive criticism - illustrated with suggestions and examples - for your paper. You are welcome to specify areas of concern in order to guide my comments; otherwise, my suggestions will cover the following categories, in order of importance:
o Higher-Order Concerns: Organization, coherence, clarity of ideas, documentation (if applicable) , tone.
o Lower-Order Concerns: Syntax, sentence-level clarity, style, grammar, mechanics, typographical errors.
**N.B. I will NOT offer Editing and Revision Assistance services to clients working on academic papers. I only offer Proofreading services if the paper is for a class other than a composition or writing-intensive class. If you are working on an academic project, you may wish to consider the Virtual Tutoring option.
General Information:
These services may be performed in either MS Word or Google Documents, according to your preference.
Completion times will be negotiated on a project-by-project basis, according to the complexity of the project and my schedule. However, every effort will be made to complete your project in the shortest time possible.
All payments will be made via PayPal before the final product is delivered. For copywriting projects, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the outset of the project, and the remainder will be paid before the final product is delivered. These projects will be delivered in .doc format.
