Skill/Service Details: Jan Nerone, LMBT is an intuitive healer with twelve years of experience and a wide range of skills, including massage for relaxation, stress relief and pain management. She is also proficient with massage for sports injury or strain, Reiki for all types of physical, emotional and psychological issues and assisted stretching. Her specialty is in medical massage, which is excellent for chronic pain and stress.
Each session is customized to your needs, which is made possible by her extensive medical background. Jan received her massage education at the Medical Arts Massage School in Raleigh, NC, graduating in 2000. She is trained in Swedish massage, sports massage, deep tissue massage, Tui Na (Chinese massage) , Trigger Point Therapy, Ayurvedic Medicine, Yoga, Aromatherapy and other holistic modalities. Jan is currently pursuing certification in Medical Massage at the Body Therapy Institute in Siler City. Jan is also a Reiki Master and Wilderness First Responder. In addition to Jan's official training, her lifetime of martial arts, yoga and outdoor sports add to her ability to provide unique and well rounded therapy.
Jan has years of experience providing excellent quality bodywork in a variety of settings. Upon graduating from massage school, she began her bodywork career by working with an upscale salon, as well as the Center for Creative Health. The Center for Creative Health was a physical therapist owned integrative medicine facility that provided a range of complementary modalities for patients with serious illnesses. Jan quickly began to specialize in treating patients with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain Syndrome. In the years that followed, Jan worked with a day spa, a holistic wellness center and as a sole practitioner. Aside from her career in bodywork, Jan has also had a successful career in the business world, where she worked with nonprofits and healthcare providers. She believes that her range of experience enables her to provide unique and well rounded care for her patients.

Rates: $65 per hour for customized treatment including massage therapy, postural assessment, reiki and/or aromatherapy. I charge a flat rate for my services, so whatever we create for your treatment plan is included.
