Skill/Service Details: Ashtar offers Daughters of Sophia Tribal Style Bellydance classes to students beginner through advanced. Tribal Style Bellydance places emphasis on group performance, each "tribe" creating its own stlye of movement, costuming and presentation. Its respect for the human female body and sexuality make it a naturally pleasurable way for Pagans to stay in shape!
Ashtar brings to her classes a lifetime in dance, combining years of training in ballet, jazz, Spanish dance, T'ai Chi, Eastern European Folk Dance, Afro-Brazilian Dance, and more. Her decades of teaching experience and knowledge of anatomy enable her to assist students in achieving correct, safe technique quickly. Her certification in Neuro-Linguistic Programming arms her with accellerated learning techniques that make learning bellydance easy and fun.
