Reiki Healing and Attunements

Skill/Service Details: I am a Reiki Master (and therefore teacher of Reiki) as taught by Dr. Usui, Dr. Hayashi, and Hawayo Takata. I attained Practitioner Certification in England with Reiki Master Tina Horrocks, and my Master level training with Reiki Master Ted Brunell. I have been doing Reiki for several years now. I was also recently re-attuned to Master Level Reiki by Reiki Master Richard Tomkins in Shropshire, England.
I offer both healing sessions, and also classes in which students are attuned to do Reiki themselves.
Reiki is an ancient healing art detailed in the Sanskrit sutras, rediscovered last century in Japan by Dr. Mikao Usui. Reiki energy is channeled into the client by the practitioner by simply laying his or her hands in various positions on or near the client's fully clothed body. The client may feel warmth, coolness, or tingling from the hands of the practitioner.
Reiki promotes healing and well-being on all levels, including not only the physical but also the mental and spiritual levels. Reiki soothes away headaches and stiff muscles. It stops the flow of blood when one is injured, and if applied promptly, keeps insect stings, burns, and bruises from manifesting fully.
Reiki calms those who have been in an accident and lessens the time it takes them to heal. Reiki lessens the amount of drugs or chemotherapy one needs to use. Reiki is also effective on chronic or long-term illnesses. Energy healing such as Reiki has been known to dissolve even tumors. While Reiki's immediate effects are felt in easing physical conditions, Reiki is far more pervasive. Clients are amazed at the sense of peace and relaxation they feel from a Reiki session. Reiki helps to clear the negative debris from the mind thereby allowing more focused concentration. Reiki helps provide inspiration to make one's work easier and more productive.
In addition to creating a pain-free body and a clear mind, Reiki can aid one in spiritual pursuits. Reiki works with the client's energy field, so the energy can be directed to work specifically to help open up the client's psychic centers. Reiki raises the vibration of your energy field, and therefore raises your awareness of your higher self and spirit guides.
I am a practicing Witch in a local coven in Salem, Oregon, with my husband/soulmate. We are both Professors at local Universities as well, and travel all over Europe in our free time, never ceasing to explore new cultures and new ideas.

Rates: A typical Reiki session lasts approximately one hour. My rate for a session is on the lower end of the price scale - only $35.00 per hour-long session., Reiki Classes and Attunements are done over a one or two-day workshop. Reiki 1 costs $75.00 in total, and teaches you to give Reiki to yourself and anyone else, plus pets, plants, etc. Reiki 2 Classes cost 125.00 in total, and teaches you you to send distance Reiki to any person, pets, the earth, any world situation, or any thing else you want to send healing to at a distance. Master's level classes are $300.00 in total, and qualifies you to teach Reiki yourself and give attunements to others.
