Belly Dancer and Sacred Dance

Skill/Service Details: Diana began studying dance (ballet, Jazz, & tap) at age five. She has studied Middle Eastern dance since 1999 with reputable instructors, such as Habiba, Fleur Frascella and Geela Mahsati. She has taken workshops with Rachel Brice, Fat Chance Belly Dance, and Gypsy Caravan. She began dancing professionally in 2003 and founded Vesperus dance troupe in 2004. She was invited into Hipnosis tribal dance troupe in March of 2005 and put Vesperus on hold. In November of 2006, Diana resigned from Hipnosis and returned to direct Vesperus, a tribal fusion troupe that focuses on the spirituality of dance, incorporating fire arts and improvisational dance. Diana has taught sacred dance workshops since 2003 and weekly classes since 2004. She has an entrancing style of dance that has captivated observers all over the Delaware Valley. She teaches American Tribal Style belly dance from a holistic perspective, conveying a healing and empowering dance for women of all backgrounds.
Diana offers classes in belly dance from a three-fold perspective of balance between the mind, body, and spirit. She is available for private lessons, workshops at your event, or with her sacred dance troupe, Vesperus, to add add Beauty, Power and Magic to your next ritual, rite or celebration.
