Legal Handfasting & Weddings

Skill/Service Details: Legal Handfastings, Marriages, Civil Unions, Commitment Ceremonies, Vow Renewals, I am an Ordained InterFaith Minister and authorized by the state of Tennessee to perform legal unions.
I have several handfasting rites from which you may choose, or if you prefer, I will perform a handfasting of your own design, If the rite is of your own design, I request that we meet to review the ceremony and at a minimum you will need to email or snail mail your intention to me in a timely manner.
I will also preside over Handfastings, Same Sex Couple commitment ceremonies and renewal of vow ceremonies which are not legally binding in the State of Tennessee. The ceremony will be 'official', just without the state red tape. I treat all with the utmost respect, care and love.
I will travel to your wedding/ handfasting site if you prefer, or I can perform the service at the New Earth Center in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
The service is performed by the Rev. Dr. Kimberley Harrell, DD.
I officiate and preside over your nuptial handfasting. I can, by law, legally sign your license, thereby completing the legalities concerning your marital state.
Marriage Licenses are easy to obtain in Tennessee. There is no waiting period and no blood test required. Simply appear in person at any County Clerk's office. Both parties must be present in person. Proof of age is required by a valid driver's license, another state-issued I.D., or a valid passport, and a certified birth certificate. You will also need to bring your Social Security card. You do not have to be a resident of Sumner County to get married here.
That having been said, couples may also bring a marriage license from any county in the state of Tennessee. Licenses obtained in any other state (outside TN) are not valid. Remember, licenses are only valid within thirty days from issuance. (If the marriage is not solemnized within 30 days from the issue date, it becomes void.) If applicants are under age 18, both parents or legal guardians must sign the marriage certificate. And regardless of circumstances, both applicants must be present to obtain a marriage license.
Rates: Rates are dependent on the individual requests of the client. Every handfasting / wedding ceremony is tailored to the desires of the participants., Wedding Planning Services are also available.
