She began her work in acrylic and oil paintings, colored pencil, chalks and other forms of traditional media in the early nineties and in recent years has delved into the ancient arts of pyrography, carving and sculpture as well. Her subject matter falls predominantly in the realm of nature, wildlife, legend, folklore, mythology and fantasy with a definitive style and remarkable imagination. Her work has been used in advertising for productions such as 'Midsummer's Night Dream' for Summer Solstice at White Rock Lake Park in Dallas and is available for viewing by appointment at our solar powered home studio. Eme is also open to contracting for custom artwork for your home or place of business including paintings, sketches, drawings, wood burned art (pyrography) or advertising materials. Primal Aspects is a home based, family owned business in Arlington, Texas founded by Emily Dewbre-Young in January of 2009.
Rates: If you would like to commission Eme to do some artwork the rate may vary depending on the size and scope of your project but she is very reasonable and negotiable.
