Skill/Service Details: One of the services we offer is custom wand designs. We are happy to either work from a simple sketched drawing of a wand, a photo jpeg image or create something which will suit your needs and tastes.
How it works: We exchange messages back and forth either by email or phone conversation and take your desired wand specs and create a wand personalized to you. It is just this simple. :) We are very fast with our turnaround time and can generally have your design created by the next day and shipped out the door to you. You will not be waiting long for your special wand.
The only time it takes a bit longer, is if the specific wood species you ask for is not in stock and we have to order it in. Then we are at the mercy of the seller to ship to us in a timely manner. We pride ourselves in customer service and satisfaction, so there will be many emails going back and forth with you, as you wait for the wand to be created. (If we have to wait for the wood service) . We always shoot a photo of the finished wand to share with you and then send it out to you in the post.
Rates: The cost for a detailed custom wand varies on many factors: wood type chosen, if it has carved details in the wand shaft, handle, etc. and the details of the wand itself, such as length, if you want the wand to be coloured with stains, use paints to accent the beauty of the wood, or left natural. , We have a special feature in our webstore called "Wand Customization Suite Editor". You can look through various images of wand shafts and handles to chose one for your wand, or see through any of our previously sold wands for other ideas. Then chose the wood type and you will get the pricing for your custom wand. We also can take your design idea and create it accordingly, as listed in the details above. , Cost also ranges on how timely we can get the wand finished. Example: A wand created solely on the lathe, vs. one with a lot of intricate hand carving. The pricing will certainly vary because of this type of work.
