Skill/Service Details: I have 15 years experience as a chandler. I apprenticed for 5 years to learn my craft and I can create custom colors and sculptures for any occasion. If you provide me a fabric sample I can color match to create a beautiful unity candle for your hand-fasting, baby blessing maidening or any other purpose. With photos of your decor I can create an original work of art that is not only beautiful, but refillable - provided you follow the candle burning instructions included with your candle. My candles have been seen at the Texas Renn Fair as well as Scarborough Faire and other Renn Faires across the country. There are only 3 of us listed in Texas and I am the only person doing this art form in the local area. The others are in Magnolia, Corpus Christy and Midlothian Tx. I apprenticed with Master Chandlers Becky and Jerry Hurst for 5 years before opening my own business. Rates: my rates are dependent upon the size and difficulty of the product requested they range from $20.00 to $150.00. for carvings and from $5.00 to $30.00 for hand poured ritually appropriate timing (i.e. making it at 2am ritual candles under the waxing or waning moon ritual candle.)
