I know there are those of you who would like to learn how to create your own altar pieces, candle holders, chalices, smug bowls, offering bowls, or just a gift for that special someone in your life. Make a gift to hold the oil and incense. Are you making your own BOS? Create a relief of the symbol you have chosen for yourself to attach to the front of your book. Be able to create your own protection or healing pieces putting your energy and spirit in them to give them even more power to do what needs to be done. These things are important to me and I know that they are important to you also. I have a beautiful space filled with the blessings of Mother Earth to help you with these creations. I would like to share the love I have for creating beautiful things with you in a peaceful atmosphere which will allow the creative side of each one of you to come out in your work.
Clay has its own spirit and to allow that spirit to become a beautiful piece of work for yourself or someone special is the greatest gift our Great Mother can give us. Please allow me to assist you.
I have been an artist, potter, and teacher for the past 35 years. I live in Beaumont and I teach pottery, sculpture, drawing, calligraphy and watercolor. I do Raku, functional glaze and low fire pottery.
Sessions depends on the time needed to learn and understand the processes of each decipline. Learn how to see with your heart not just with your eyes and how to allow your spirit to guide you in making your creations.
Those of you who are interested in getting creative can contact me through Witchvox or at the phone number below. The number of students are limited to 6 per session since my studio is small. Morning sessions are by appointment only. Evening classes are for adults and older teens. Check website for class dates.
Rates: Adult Sessions fee is $20.00 an hour, (older teens may attend these sessions) . Registration is to be done before class begins and fees can be paid the day of class. Price for classes include use of studio, tools, equipment, glazing and firing of all small work. Firing of larger work (work that would fill up a kiln) will be figured on a per piece basis.
