Skill/Service Details: My theraputic orientation is an integrative practice of psychodynamic and humanistic psychotherapy. I work with adults, couples, adolescents, children and families. One area of specialization is treating children with Pervasive Developmental Disorders (Autism) and individuals with disorders that have low social emotional reciprocity (ADD, ODD, RAD and Depression) . Treatment methods I use include: psychodynamic psychotherapy, humanistic psychotherapy, counseling, play therapy and Limbic Recovery ©, a dyadic therapeutic approach. The goal of Limbic Recovery is to promote limbic development in the adult/child. I have developed Limbic Recovery to support facilitation of attachment behaviors from the therapist/caregiver to create an encouraging emotional enviroment for the individual (Adult or child) who is unable to illicit appropriate social and emotional behaviors. This approach supports dually the emotional health of the therapist/caregiver.
I am a country witch in the Irish tradition. I provide handfasting ceremonies that fit your style and spiritual outlook.
