Skill/Service Details: Aunde Cornely is a certified herbalist and druidess (Ban Draoi) , specializing in herbs of Celtic countries and the use of sacred waters. She combines modern science with an intuitive approach to support a person’s mind, body, and spirit wholeness. She is a Brighid’s Aide Woman, following in the traditions of Irish women who learned the healing ways of Brighid, goddess and saint, to share with their communities. She is grateful to join in weaving the web of ancient wisdom with the wisdom of the present, creating a link for the future.
Inspired by her Irish heritage, she began her study of ancient Celtic and pre-Celtic traditions more than 15 years ago. In Ireland she pursued intensive herbal and ritual studies with Gina McGarry, Ard Ban Draoi (High Woman Druid) , including pilgrimages to and rituals for the ancient sacred sites. She also studied the art of dowsing with Master Diviner Anthony McNulty, and astrology with Jennifer Hogue.
Additional studies include energy healing with Judi Carlon, R.N., the science and alchemy of distilling essential oils and hydrosols with aromatherapist Jeanne Rose, The Sacred Art of Dying and Spiritual Care for Hospice with Rev. Roy Green, and Jungian Astrology with Susan Dearborn-Jackson.
The classes she offers spiral around and through each other picking up different threads of ancient knowledge. It is important to lay aside linear thinking in order to allow the weaving of the web. It is not necessary to take the classes in any specific order. Each class is complete unto itself, but each class is also part of a greater whole reinforced by every turn of the spiral. People of all skill levels are invited to participate. Each class will evolve in its own way nourished by the energy brought to it.
