1) Wood is meditated upon collection & possession
2) Wood is cut to size & prayers of dedication made
3) Wood is used in the way the user intends & intention spells
4) Wood is carved & wood burned
5) Wood is oiled & coated as needed
6) Wood is bound & wrapped with any additional materials; such as leathers, feathers, metals, & stones etc...
7) Blessings are conducted for the future of the Artifact
I commonly use these local woods: maple, alder, oak, sycamore, mulberry, bamboo�
I rarely use these species of local wood: juniper, hemlock, willow, elm, ailanthus, magnolia, ginko, princess tree, catalpa, box-elder, ash, cherry, beach, walnut, hackberry, poplar�.
While these woods are all grown local & accessible, many are not �native� or indigenous.
Rates: $15-$30 Wands (-6�-3�) , $30-$60 Rods & Canes (3�-4�) , $60-$120+ Ritual Staves & Walking Sticks (4�-6�+) , (Rates vary for sizes, materials, & labor)
