Title: SECRET LIB ABORTION DEAL WITH FANATICS
The Victorian Liberal Party has secretly won the support of a powerful fundamentalist Christian group - which advocates the destruction of mosques, casinos and bottle shops - by promising not to decriminalise abortion.
The Liberals made the pledge recently to Catch the Fire Ministries, whose leader, Danny Nalliah, is facing jail along with a fellow pastor for vilifying Muslims as demons, liars and terrorists.
Queensland Nationals senator Barnaby Joyce condemned his party for striking a deal with Family First, for whom Mr Nalliah was a federal candidate in 2004.
His comments followed the release of a brochure from Mr Nalliah advocating the destruction of places of worship belonging to other religions.
"Spot Satan's strongholds in the areas you are living (brothels, gambling places, bottle shops, mosque, temples -- Freemasons/Buddhist/Hindu etc, witchcraft," the leaflet says.

How liberal can you be when you make a deal with such a close-minded group? Or has political power taken precedent everywhere over upholding personal ideals? Oh, I believe I just answered my own question.

In fact, they're worse, since many of the people they despise never had a reason-until now, to hate them.
Poor Australia. And here I thought they might be somewhat progressive. Laws like these only bring Hitlerian fascism out into the open in the guise of religion. And as for the devil, its funny that those who claim to see him everywhere else can't see him in themselves.
