Title: BAN URGED ON SORCERY
A proposal to make practicing magic and witchcraft a criminal offence will soon be put before parliament.
The issue was discussed by the legislative and legal affairs committee yesterday after it was submitted by five MPs.
If passed, the law could mean that a 'sorcerer' or 'witch' may be punished if the so-called magic they used harmed another person.

To Give My A Very Difficult Time , Until I Made It Clear I Could Make Their Dreams Very Interesting , To Say The Least , For The Rest Of Their Lives ; When They Asked If It Were A Threat , I Said No , But Since They Were Informing Me Of Their Capability , To Put Me In Jail , I Was Informing Them Of My Capabilities ; I Also Informed Them I Knew ,
Before They Even Thought Of Arresting Me For That , A Federal Judge Would Have To Hold A Hearing , On Whether Mgieck Was Real , And That Was Not About To Happen ;
( As I Had Previously Been Told by a Judge ,
When By Defending Myself During A Previous Case ; I Got A Decorated Medicine Antler Piece Into A Courtroom , As a Truthsaying Stick , Even Though They Said It Was A Weapon , On The Grounds Of Religious Freedom , By Stating I Was A Native American , Druid , Born Again Pagan ; They
Told Me I Set a National Precedent ) ; The FBI Agents Became Very Polite , And Cooperative; Their Exact Quote :
"We Can Deal With All Sorts Physical Stuff , But We Don' t Like The Spooky Sh*t " ;

Coming from the states to Bahrain, I did bring a few of my personal effects with me that would peg me as a 'witch'. Great. I don't practice for money so I guess I can consider myself under the radar, but are the burning times really over... obviously not in Bahrain.

I have to wonder (if other Countries begin to pass laws of this sort) how long it will be before this Country witnesses the return of the "Burning Times"...
There are many "Conservatives" already well prepared to light the pyres...
Thank the Goddess and the God that the "Liberals" have gained some traction in the Legislative Branch...
Will we as HumanBeings ever grow beyond our embryonic state and begin to learn from our past mistakes???
May the Divine guide our steps into the Light...

People are all too ready to blame someone for using witchcraft if something doesn't go right in their own lives. That way they don't have to own up to their own mistakes. While there are charlatans that practice magic style scams, there are also those looking to gain from others by accusation and self denial. Stepping back toward that sets a nasty and dangerous precedence.

i realize i don't live in England. I realize that we left England and now supposedly practice Freedom of Religion, but i thought even England was more open then we were. Did we all just take a step back in time or something?
