Not doing anything July 30 to Aug. 2? Feel like standing skyclad in the moonlight or invoking the Aeon of Horus?
If so, you may just want to check Panfest, a "community gathering of pagans, Wiccans, druids, shamans and ceremonial magicians from across Western Canada."
Hawk, the Panfest registrar, said practitioners of alternative religions find the central Alberta gathering to be a welcome retreat.
"One of the reasons people come to something like this is to reconnect with members of their community and meet people with like minds," Hawk said.
However, he said curious non-pagans are also welcome.

A well-written, well thought-out, unbiased look at a Pagan event from a local newspaper? Something traditionally very hot has turned very cold, methinks! (And in RURAL ALBERTA, too?!?!?!)
We really should write copius letters to the editor thanking them for publishing this....
