I like this idea. It's not a religious belief issue as much as it seems to be a snake oil issue. Some people got tricked out of their money, and they complained about the salespeople who were making fraudulent claims.
It would be nice if the USA could do the same, but it's a nation founded on the very idea of snake oil. :P

I find it startling how many americans/westerner's take their religious freedom for granted, so much that they would assume that EVERY single country has it.

| No Right To Belief If That Right Isn't Legally Gra | Jul 26th. at 5:14:47 pm EDT |

Saudi Arabia is run by a Muslim goverment in accordance with their interpretation of Islamic law.
In America or Canada or some other Western country, these arrestees would have a legal right to their beliefs. But in Saudi Arabia, no such right exists.
I'm all for tolerance and would love it if the Saudi government would agree with me. But I'm not holding my breath for it.
This shows the danger inherent in combining church and state. I honestly would not support even a Wiccan government in my country. Keep church and state irrelevent to each other, I say.

There are so many people that say they are "witches" or practice "witchcraft" with the idea of scaring & intimidating people. THose people jsut need to get lives...same with these unfortunate rats. I had a muslim friend who told me she thinks someone put black magick or a bad hex on her family. I don't want to offend anyone who is Muslim or loves someone who is, but these individuals in countries where these dumbass terrorists are from, umm...indicates to me that they have WAY TOO MUCH TIME ON THEIR HANDS!! O my Goddess! Let's build tolerance & spread positivity to the rest of the world, & eventually it will get around to dummys like them, hopefully. Goddess Bless! Or just let karma handle it all :)

true they were forcing something upon people that was against that persons will, but you dont arrest someone for that!! they have a right for their own beliefs and as for the whole "FORCING" part, it will come back on them three times worse!(three fold rule!!) if the police dont necissarilly "like" black magick, they dont have to do it, but they shouldn't be able to arrest someone for their religion or what they like to do. why doesn't every country begin a democracy then everything is fixed!!

Sounds to me like the old "Dr. Perrywinkle's Snake Oil", not really black magic. As far as the other two women were concerned...maybe he had an affair with his maid, and his wife found out..and the old woman?? C'mon! An old woman causing contention in her household-must be a witch! They arrested her???? Ridiculous!!

Since these folks don't run late night TV ads, maybe they should be forced to wear a sign saying "For entertainment purposes only".

Wheather these people where actually using magik or not, they were using it to harm people and force people to act in was that normally would have been unatural for them. These people have no repsect for others, and should get none in return.
