Spooked By The Devilish Face In An Eleventh Night Bonfire

Author: Lesely-Anne Henry Source: Belfast Telegraph (NI)

Title: SPOOKED BY THE DEVILISH FACE IN AN ELEVENTH NIGHT BONFIRE
This is the picture of Eleventh Night bonfire celebrations which has one Co Down community spooked.
The photograph was snapped by 18-year-old student Zoe McWhinney at a bonfire close to the Ballybeen estate in Dundonald.
Mum Ruth McWhinney said many who had seen the picture thought it was a devil.
Dr Andrew Snedden, an expert on the history of witchcraft at Queen's University Belfast said there were no records to confirm if the Longstone site had been used to practice witchcraft or black magic.

Like the "Demons" in the smoke of the World Trade Center attacks [Web LINK]
PhotoShop or not...the human brain is wired for PATTERN RECOGNITION and when we find Faces, Bunnies, Ships, Elephants or Dragons in the clouds it's our brains trying to bring form from chaos...and it's called "Visual Matrixing."
Ever heard rustling leaves or those BARELY perceptible EVPs (electronic voice phenomena) and swore you heard certain words or phrases "from the grave"? Audio Matrixing...
Has a burning bush ever sounded like the Voice Of Gawd telling you to plunge a knife into your child's chest as a sacrafice? Mescaline Matrixing...... Okay...that was a joke....if you don't get it, look it up....

...or a nice sharp pitchfork either. I have to say that's either an incredibly chance occasion that the fire took on the silhouette of a human face of someone had fun with PhotoShop, as an earlier poster remarked. Pretty cool pic, but I just don't see anything evil or demonic about it. Probably the only evil thing that occurred is the ongoing promotion of the idiotic bigotry symbolized by the Orange Walk...could it be perhaps the face wasn't of Satan but of Divine power come to scold the knuckleheads preparing for their misguided march?

Cernunnos! Omigosh!
It would be an interesting day indeed if the headline said "Elated By The Herne-like Face..."

The only thing that is evil in this story is the fact that the Eleventh Night bonfires take place the night before Northern Ireland's annual parade of bigotry known as the Orange Walk.

or as the kids would say kEwL, with a little imagination you can see the profile of the face of Pan, who I am sure is enjoying the festivities.
