Update: Praying For Snow … And Getting Some

Title: PRAYING FOR SNOW … AND GETTING SOME
If forecasts are right, a snow-summoning ceremony Saturday could be a thank-you ceremony instead.
With a First Annual Pray for Snow Party planned for 5:15 p.m. Saturday at the base of Aspen Mountain, only a few flakes had fallen as of press time Friday evening, but the overnight forecast called for more snow.
But if it snows, organizers of the event — sponsored by KSNO-FM and 39 Degrees at the Sky Hotel — said the ceremony will be a way to thank the Norse god Ullr, or any other deity, pagan or otherwise, that unleashed the flakes.

Hey! We need one of those here!
It hasn't snowed here in three winters, and the one coming up will be the fourth.
Until about the mid 90's we could always count on a least 2-3 snows of 8 or more inches, usually more, with at least one good one of 12+ inches.
Now-a-days, it just flurries, with just a dusting at best.
Those who poo-poo global warming need to come live here.
