Title: SPRAGUE WITCH PLEADS NOT GUILTY TO CHARGE OF HARASSMENT
Rusty Freeman, also known as the Rev. Rapid Cabot Freeman and the “Witch of Baltic,” entered a not guilty plea Wednesday to a second-degree harassment charge in Norwich Superior Court.
Freemen, a Wiccan who hosts a public access show, gained attention recently when he accused the town of Sprague of religious discrimination when he was denied use of a public building to hold a witchcraft demonstration on Halloween.

It's my understanding from previous reports about this incident that he was denied use of the building for his demonstration because he wasn't a resident of the town the building was located in, therefore, he didn't meet the town's residential requirement for usage of the building. There could be more to it, but as long as that requirement applies to everyone, across the board, I don't think he's got the right to complain.

...that right there is pretty much the final word.
I'm not denying that "we" get harassed and persecuted on a regular basis. I'm not saying that the majority of cases in which someone seeks to use the law against one of "us" aren't malicious and completely illegitimate.
I'm just saying that, without a doubt, the creeps are out there, and there's no reason (religion of personal responsibility and spiritual growth notwithstanding) for anyone ot honestly believe that "we" should be immune.

This the latest news on what is happening with the case against my ex husband. I would have hesitated to post it, but I did want to make it clear that the harassment charges have nothing to do with me, or my divorce, and that there was absolutely no reason for him to attempt to contact the woman he has harassed. She had nothing to do with my divorce.
He had already been served a cease and desist by her attorney before he made the final threatening phone call that resulted in the harassment charge. In my opinion, he needs to stop slicking out of the court system for what he has done to women. I hope they give him full jail time.
I just filed the paperwork to continue my own restraining order against him yesterday, which has been in effect since June 2007. The Derby police also have a copy of the threatening television show he aired on November 1st, which included the "Along Came A Spider" mini-movie series of videos by Alice Cooper about a serial killer who murdered women and cut off their legs to create a 'spider.' It's my understanding that the Norwich court has a copy as well. It's all very disturbing.
