Man charged in 2003 killing of eagle

Author: James Merriweather Source: The News Journal

Title: Man charged in 2003 killing of eagle
A 59-year-old Delaware man has been arrested in San Antonio, Texas, and charged in the killing, stuffing and mounting of a bald eagle that had nested in a pine tree along the Indian River southeast of Millsboro until the tree was felled in June 2003.
The suspect was identified as Manuel Zertuche, whose hometown was not immediately available. Deputy U.S. Marshal Timothy Hughes said Friday from San Antonio that the pajama-clad suspect was arrested Wednesday morning after he came out of a San Antonio home to get his mail.
Hughes said a tip from the U.S. Marshal's office in Wilmington prompted two deputy marshals to drive by the home, although no other details were available early Friday night on the source of the tip.

I meant to say Eagle... not bird... while Eagles are technicly birds... it is less respectful to call a Bald Eagle a bird especially considering which holiday season it is... (thanksgiving to yule) .

how is it possible a bird killed in San Antonia managed to get out of Texas and into Delaware? Or am I just totally misreading this entire article?
