Broward's Witches (The Year-Round Variety) Plan Halloween Dancing And Ritual

Title: BROWARD'S WITCHES (THE YEAR-ROUND VARIETY) PLAN HALLOWEEN DANCING AND RITUAL
For most, being a witch is a one-night affair, as young and old go out in search of Halloween tricks and treats. But there are women -- and men -- for whom it is a lifetime commitment.
At midnight Saturday, practitioners of Wicca, the religion of witchcraft, will gather around a bonfire for the Samhain Ritual, an ancient Celtic rite that honors the departed.
It's part of the "Witches Ball" hosted by the national parent organization of MoonPath Circle, a group of local Wiccans. The event is expected to draw more than 500 people.
There will be live music, a raffle, a costume contest---and witches.
