Title: HARRISBURG COMMUNITY GROWS WITH GARDEN
The same tire that once littered a grass lot on Bohler Avenue now has an array of herbs growing from its center.
The Harrisburg Community Garden, in the 600 block of Bohler Avenue, has shown what the combination of hard work and nature can accomplish, said Denice Traina, who started the garden in August 2008. On Saturday, Mrs. Traina and the Unitarian Universalist Church helped celebrate the success of the garden and bless future cultivation at the Harrisburg Harvest celebration.
