Title: K-STATE STUDENT FROM KCK STUDIES MYTHS OF PAGANISM

Silver Faery (Hays, Kansas) - Email Me

I'm sorta glad that someone is going around the midwest and has Pagans willing to help her out. Yes we are small, yes we are close (for some of us our fellow Pagans are more family then our family) , and yes we do have to worry about how other will react. Though in Lawarence and Kansas City, they are a bit more accepted then in places further west. Maybe she should try to contact other small communities. In all cases though, some would be willing to talk and others would not. I know here in Ellis county, some are more open then others....many of us hide in plain sight, and it took some of us years to finally stop dealing with issues.
Believe it or not, yes people out here do believe we follow Satan/the Devil, that we are out to hurt their children and or crops. We might be modern, but somethings never change. Oh and that all Witches and Pagans are Goths and Metal Heads...LOL; I could just keep going with different things I have heard over the years here. Silver Faery
