Witch School Moving To Witch City

Author: Tom Dalton Source: Salem News (MA)

Title: WITCH SCHOOL MOVING TO WITCH CITY
The "Witch School" sign hasn't gone up on the building yet, but the operators of this largely Internet enterprise have picked out a storefront on Salem's Essex Street pedestrian mall.
The city's newest witch business will be sandwiched between The Gathering, a small Christian church, and Rockafellas, a restaurant that is on the site where The First Church in Salem was founded in 1634.
The Witch School is hoping for a warmer welcome than it received from some Christians in its current home in Illinois.

Thanks for Posting. Witch School is a great organization, that is deeply involved with community. We are a group that is the highest trafficked Pagan Site in the world. Last Pagan Pride Season we donated over $16,000 worth of memebrships and items to individual groups as one example of community involvement.
Our for profit status is the same as Llewellyn's, New Page, Mythic Images, and dozens of businesses that support the community. We are community owned, and therefore community oriented.
As for critics, I love having them. It's important to recognize that everyone has a right to an opinion, but not every opinion is right or fair.

Which School is Correllian Nativist tradition. Which I'm not really sure is Wicca. To quote their website:
"Whether Correllian Nativism was originally a branch of what would later be called “Wicca” or not is a matter of debate. Correllianism’s claim to Wiccan status rests both upon Lady Orpheis’ claimed Scottish Traditional lineage, and also upon her Aradian lineage, which she acquired in 1504 Pisces (1904 AD) through Lydia Beckett, a student of Charles Leland. We would say that any such debate would be only a matter of semantics anyway."

This goes against everything I was ever taught about Wicca and its beliefs. This makes me sick. We wonder why people have such strange opinions of Paganism and Wicca... An old joke i know: what's the difference between a New Age gathering and a Wiccan gathering....A decimal point.
