Psychics In Northeast Mississippi

Author: Emily Le Coz Source: Northwest Mississippi Daily Journal (MS)

Title: PSYCHICS IN NORTHEAST MISSISSIPPI
Sabrina knew she had "the gift" from the time she was about 9 years old.
Sabrina, who asked that her real name and exact location be kept secret, said she inherited psychic abilities from her mother, who had received it from her grandmother. They are of Romanian descent, as are many of the psychics here and across the country.
Most descend from the same blood line, Sabrina said, and all share a common professional courtesy: They respect one another's territories and do not practice nor advertise outside their own boundaries. That is why Sabrina, who operates outside her Tupelo hometown, said she declined to reveal her identity - for fear of disrespecting any Lee County psychics.
Despite the secretive nature of the business, the psychic industry is booming here as it is elsewhere with its increasing popularity in mainstream media.

R. Cicero (Seattle, Washington) - Email Me

Psychics certainly make the world more interesting, While I don't mind someone making a buck at it (in fact I'm thrilled at their choice of occupation) , I do worry about those that seek out their services. The plain fact is, people get lonely and confused and need all the help they can get. I wish they knew how to seek out the answers for themselves, but I suppose that's just the human condition. You don't even need to be psychic, of course. A kind personality, good listening skills, and a little mystery go a long way in this world, and the next.
