Meditation dates back more than 1,000 years

Author: Kevin McClintock Source: Neosho Daily News

Title: Meditation dates back more than 1,000 years
Once thought of in the United States as some Eastern mystical mumbo jumbo, meditation as medication has earned a respectful niche among the mainstream in the last 10 years.
In many ways, said meditation guru J.L. Badgley, “it is one of the most powerful tools for the overall balance of the mind, the body and the spirit.”
For these reasons and more, “Americans from all walks of life are seeking meditation out as a means of maintaining and restoring their health,” he continued.
Research has shown meditation can contribute to both an individual's psychological and physiological well-being. This is accomplished by using meditation to slow both the body and mind down to a sub-level of consciousness. Doing this helps promote a healing state from within.

Ahr-Ohn (Bridgeport, Connecticut) - Email Me

Back in the 32nd Century, Krishna describes it as a lost art.
When would a Shaman have first addressed Heaven? A Shaman could easily address a Hare, or a Bear, and Raven is whence we get such address of Autistics, and even Trees are doable as an influence on T'aiChi Juan, but what Shaman would first have imitated Naught? Would Meditation have been more ancient that Worship or History? I guess some songs of Shiva NataRaja, of the 79th Century, might help nail down the history.
