Title: SAVING THE MAGNOLIA
A group fighting to save an old magnolia tree in downtown Asheville prepares for the next step, and it's getting some help.
The Asheville Tree Commission is recommending that city leaders do whatever it takes to keep the century old magnolia tree right where it is.
Last summer, a group of Wiccans, including Dixie Deerman and Steve Rasmussen, performed a ritual to save the tree.
