See The Future At The Psychic Eye

Author: Jennifer Grafiada Source: Las Vegas Weekly (NV)

Title: SEE THE FUTURE AT THE PSYCHIC EYE
Business is down nearly everywhere, but inside The Psychic Eye readings are up 20 percent.
At the location at Russell and Eastern (there are three other Psychic Eyes and several similar shops in Henderson and Las Vegas), a minimum of 60 people come in each day seeking answers and direction.
The store has plenty of success stories. A few days ago, they tell me, a woman came in frantic about not being able to find her brother. With the help of a Tarot card reader, she was able to locate him within the hour. Another hysterical lady came in while I was in the shop on the verge of tears after seeing a vision of her dead ex-husband. A tarot reader told her to breathe, led her behind a beaded curtain and thoroughly talked her through her troubles, likely for less than an hour at the shrink.

Medea (Somewhere, Massachusetts) - Email Me

I got out of reading professionally just recently. Why? Because all of a sudden, people with serious financial difficulties, and heart wrenching questions about their economic status started to besiege my practice.
A lot of these were mainstream folks, who in the past wouldn't have consulted a psychic on a dare. And here they are, asking me for information concerning corporate policies, "Will I get fired, will my husband lose his job.." Good grief.
So why did I quit? Because no psychic is 100% infallible, and any one who says they are is full of it. In spite of my disclaimer at the beginning of the reading, ( I always state that a reading is not a substitute for professional medical, financial, or psychiatric advice) too many of these people were attempting to take the results of my readings as set in stone.
I'm good, but I had the unpleasant experience where quite a few strongly projective clients were flooding me with their anguish and terror. The pressure on me to be 100% correct was overwhelming, because these people were absolutely desperate.
I wish the Psychic Eye all the best, if they can stick with the business in times like this, kudos.

I think I will still stick with the one I travel to go to. Though if I ever do stop in Las Vegas I might have to check it out...or any in other cities.

Ehh... There's one about 5 minutes down the road from me that I go to only for incense. It's too new agey for my tastes. I've heard some unsavory things about them. There are other occult shops in Vegas, but I haven't checked them out yet.

I stopped in last year during a business trip, and fell in love. It will never surpass my love for my "home" store "Mystickal Voyage" But it's nooks full of information, and a very helpful staff make this a Vegas gem!
