Woman Claiming To Be Witch Brews Up Trouble

Author: Chrissie Isenberg   Source: Durant Democrat (OK)

Title: WOMAN CLAIMING TO BE WITCH BREWS UP TROUBLE

A woman claiming she was a witch who wasn't there may wish that to be true after being booked into the Bryan County Jail Monday.

Sheriff's Deputy John Hoffpair responded to a call in Mead at approximately 7 p.m. Monday when a person on Cypress Street in Lakewood Ranchette complained that a woman was running through the woods screaming that she was a witch.

I sent the editor of the paper a nice little letter asking why this story was even run. I asked if the lady had been running and screaming that she was a Christian would they still have ran the story.

If you read the article, thw woman never even claimed to be a witch, the person who call the police made the statement. Without the word witch this would have never made the news at all. This is one of the worse articles I have ever read, very poor.

This was just a bit off the Blotter. It only made Wren's Nest, due to the claim of WitchCraft, but was otherwise grist for a small town paper, on the basis a local mad-woman.

"According to the report, she admitted to using meth the day before and had a smell of alcohol on her."

There's her problem; Witches are supposed to do Chocolate. I don't know how she's to reballance her Physiology after Meth, but Dessicated Liver would help with the Alcohol.

Also, either Sangraal or Flame of Aradia would help with Bio-Chemistry in general. If someone's in the area, a pendulum check could ascertain which is appropriate. Pointy Circle should help her settle down, for such a program, but she has Issues to be offered Perspective... I draw the Six of Staves, so her efforts at Chemo-Witchery might even bear fruit.

If when woken up she claimed not to be there,
and if then sent to jail, she doesn't have to be there either.

Would have been more interesting if she claimed to be Mother Goose and started spouting new rhymes -- good ones.

Maybe, maybe not.

Burned out and mentally ill?? Probably so.

Sounds like she could really, really, really use some healing and educational energy.

*Please* be careful with the recreational chemicals, folks. Or better yet, just avoid them.

Next thing ya know, somebody'll be screaming that a house fell on her sister...
