Vampires Part Of OGIA Seminar To Law Enforcement

Author: KSWO   Source: KSWO (OK)

Title: VAMPIRES PART OF OGIA SEMINAR TO LAW ENFORCEMENT

Bloods, Crips, Gangster Disciples, Latin Kings and vampires!? Believe it! The Oklahoma Gang Investigators Association has more than neighborhood street gangs to deal with.

At Wednesday's OGIA seminar, law enforcement learned about the underground world of occult crime. Guest speaker Don Rimer spent over three decades as police officer in Virginia, where he discovered crimes involving cult activity. Satanists committed some of these crimes, but some culprits acted as vampires.

Rimer is originally from Lawton and is a Cameron University graduate. He says he was always interested in vampires, but did not know that their practices existed in real life. He started researching cults, attending some ceremonies as a viewer, and now shares that information with law enforcement and educators nationwide, so they can combat cult crime.

MolluskSister23 (Omaha, Nebraska) - Email Me

A few years ago, a so-called "expert on gang crime," George Knox, published an article that ended up on cnn.com listing "Witches" and Wiccans as a type of street gang that should be watched by law enforcement. (link below) I showed one of my elder sisters the article, and she was so disgusted, she called his voicemail (his contact info was listed on the article) and left several messages. I'm sure she wasn't the only one; he eventually had his phone disconnected, hehe.

Mr. Rimer, as Mr. Knox before him, is obviously just trying to cash in on the occult mythos, and is truly unable to distinguish between the real world and that of fantasy; that's frightening if you think that he's selling this kind of garbage to people who run around with badges and guns. I wonder how much taxpayer money is funding this idiot while he is peddling his "seminars." Seriously, they'd be better off subscribing to HBO. /sigh

Be very afraid when the police start listening to this kind of trash....
Someone is liable to start burning Sookie Stackhouse novels...

some of us pagans ought to go to law enforcement and help them understand things better rather than some fraudulent charlatan who makes a living telling lies. Why can't a well-informed pagan go to them and separate the lies from fiction? Shouldn't we stand up for ourselves once in a while? Instead of making the cops our enemy, we have every right to go to them and set the record straight about our practices. We need to make it clear to the public we are not monsters. I'm tired of us being seen in a bad light.

You may wonder how a consultant that stupid could possibly be paid to speak to any given police department. But any given police department is only as smart as its chief, or commissioner, and those people can potentially be very stupid indeed. Of course they can conversely be (and often are) very smart and can write this stuff off. I'm certainly not saying that most people with a military or police background but perhaps little or no college are dumb as rocks. It's just that some are, and that's dangerously, horrifically way too many. Some departments not only pay for this information, they actually force the rank and file to sit and listen and sometimes act upon it (remember the kind of things you were made to sit through during school assemblies?) . A college education has little or nothing to do with this phenomenon--George Bush graduated from Yale, mind you. It is simply a problem that SOME dimwits not only get along within these organizations but actually thrive depending upon their political acumen and ability to alienate or neutralize their critics. Standing behind Jesus's cross is of course a very common crutch, lending the semblance of purified truth to the most false and lurid claims. Textbook example: Don Rimer. Makes we want to projectile vomit. Unemployment is through the roof, and that a**hole is getting PAID.

Vampire Gangs? Aug 21st. at 8:54:08 pm EDT

This is actually pretty hysterical! Can't the cops tell yet that this guy is making this stuff up? Where's Angel when you need him? :P

Don Rimer pops up his crank head and tries to con law enforcement AGAIN with his half-truths and outright lies about " occult crime".

Do any of these organizers bother to check the creds of their speakers to make sure they aren't an embarrassment?

And OC there's the BS inference of " vampire gangs".

Rimer is obviously trying to take advantage of the Twilinght/True Blood/ Being Human/ Moonlight vampire popularity that is rising nowadays.

Wait until William Schnoebelen comes out with " I was a former vampire" story. Wait, he did that recently.

Gather up your haz-mat suits and gas masks folks. The leeches are at it again.

Some people have obviously not read "The Psychic Vampire Codex" by Michelle Belanger.

Also, Don Rimer was already debunked as an anti-occult quack by Kerr Cuhulain: [Web LINK]

I guess someone is going to have to take this ex-cop by the hand and explain to him the concept of F-I-C-T-I-O-N, and that "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" is not a documentary.
