A Love For Bugs And An Uncommon Faith

Author: Andrew Miner   Source: The Daily Barometer (OR)

Title: A LOVE FOR BUGS AND AN UNCOMMON FAITH

Mike Reitmajer is a politically conservative, heavy metal bassist who enjoys being president of the OSU Bug Zoo. He also follows the Pagan faith.

Not exactly your “typical” OSU sophomore in bio-engineering.

Paganism, according to the British Broadcasting Corporation’s Web site, is an earth-based faith originally from indigenous cultures of Europe. Druids in Britain revived the ancient religion in the 17th Century, becoming entranced by Stonehenge, a mysterious circular stone structure built 4,500 years ago.

Sporting a black Misfits T-shirt in his apartment and suffering from morning hair, Reitmajer showed his crystals which sat on his Pagan shrine.

It's good to see some positive PR from time to time. Last few articles had me wondering.
As for the insects, good for them. It's nice to know someone cares. Even they need someone to look out for them as much as the warm and furry do.
