Author: Brooke Everett Source: Knox News (TN)

Title: CELEBRATION UNITES EAST TENNESSEE PAGANS
A display at the Pagan Pride Festival shows some of the food donated to Second Harvest Food Bank. The event also raised $750 to benefit victims of the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist shooting
A Pagan Pride Festival raised $750 to benefit the victims of the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist shooting and sent an SUV full of food, blessed in a harvest ritual, to Second Harvest Food Bank on Saturday at Westside Unitarian Universalist Church in Farragut.
The event was sponsored by the East Tennessee Wyrdoes, a group organized on Internet meeting sites and associated with the international Pagan Pride organization, which works to give Pagans a chance to celebrate rituals together, help the community and correct public misconceptions.

Especially in a state like Tennessee. It is to be hoped that one day, no one will have to hide because of their faith.

Blessed Be to the East Tennessee Pagans. I am glad to read about more Pagans getting together and doing more for their communities. I found the article was well written and didn't jump around. I find hard to get Pagans together in small town Canada. Most are afraid to come out of the broom closet and be known. Many fear for their jobs, families, etc...
Well Done and Blessed Be.
