Title: SHOP OFFERS AN ARRAY OF 'MAGICAL GROCERIES'
A store that sells magical objects -- including witches' brooms and cauldrons -- should be packed on Halloween.
Unsurprisingly, then, about 70 people gathered Oct. 31 at Edge of the Circle Books on East Pike Street on Capitol Hill. Most of them, though, were celebrating the holiday of Samhain, which, for the minority of Americans who adhere to Wicca, is an important religious event.
Over the past 12 years, under the guidance of owner Robert Anderson, Edge of the Circle has evolved into a gathering place for Seattleites reviving ancient religions and traditions (such as Samhain), as well as those interested in anything occult, the hidden or the mysterious.

I knew the original owner of the old "Shamanic Convergence," MiRobin, and have known Robert since he was just one of the folks who hung around the shop. He's literally slaved & sacrificed to make the shop a success, and it's wonderful to see him and the Edge getting some recognition.
